Ricardo Chavez is an internationally acclaimed “Renaissance Man,” celebrated for his diverse talents. With a career spanning four decades, he has excelled as an award-winning actor, author of the best-selling book Tu Vida No Tiene Que Ser Una Novela©, speaker, producer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and martial artist. Born in Mexico City, Ricardo has appeared in 21 plays, 22 soap operas, 12 films, and over 170 television shows. He is also the founder of the successful beauty product line Divas Never Age©.

From a young age, Ricardo was introduced to martial arts by his father, where he discovered a balance of spirituality, discipline, and a strong code of honor. He was selected to represent his country on two national teams, competing in both Tae Kwon Do and Judo, and earned black belts in both disciplines as well as in Kumdo, the Korean art of the sword. Later in life, Ricardo fought professionally as a Full-Contact fighter. Today, he continues his passion for martial arts, with Iaido—the ancient Japanese art of the Samurai sword—being his favorite.

In recent years, Ricardo has been recognized multiple times for his artistic and philanthropic contributions. Among the numerous accolades he has received are the prestigious APAE Award for his philanthropic work, the Latin Pride National Award, the No Limits Talent Award, the Fame Magazine Award, and the Orchid USA Award, along with many others.

Ricardo’s contributions to the arts and philanthropy have also earned him an Honorary Doctorate from the Mexican Senate, further solidifying his legacy as a true force in both the entertainment industry and humanitarian efforts.
